The Story Behind BeBack

We’re Steve and Carla, husband and wife, and the founders of BeBack.

Experiences have always been a big part of our lives. Carla is a flight attendant with a major Canadian airline, while Steve is a senior executive in the technology industry who has worked around the world, including Asia Pacific, the United States and Canada.

Through work, travel and everyday life close to home, we’ve discovered incredible restaurants, memorable places to stay, hidden gems and experiences we never wanted to forget.

Maybe it was a great little restaurant we found on vacation. A coffee shop across town. A hotel we’d happily stay at again. A hiking trail someone recommended. Or simply somewhere we passed and thought, we need to check that out.

Those places ended up scattered across photos, texts, notes, bookmarks and, all too often, our memories.

For Steve, BeBack brings together two passions: technology and great experiences. For Carla, it reflects a life of discovering new places and sharing those discoveries with others.

Together, we wanted to create something simple: one place to remember the places and experiences that matter to you.

Because BeBack isn’t just about travelling the world.

It’s about discovering your world.
